Innovative High-Density Ceramics
Teruhiro Yanagihara used the traditional technique of Arita pottery but with a different composition of crushed stone clay, resulting in high-density clay that is durable, heat and stain-resistant even without glaze. A special agent was added to create a light grey, mat tone for the Standard series.
